All of us at R&B Wire Products welcome you to our newly created blog.  Thank you so much for making us feel good and visiting with us.  We’re really actually a pretty neat story and company.  I look forward to sharing some company and product insight as we progress that will be worthy of your time to read it.  Your feedback down the road will be the real judge of that – just be kind.

How about some quick history on R&B – we’ll make it short and sweet.  We’re a 65 year old private California manufacturing company – and yes, we’re still here.  One of the few it seems these days.  R&B started out making laundry carts for the coin laundry industry back in 1946 and that must have had a great idea because believe it or not as we still do make them.  We are without a doubt the industry leader and innovator.  Check us out next time you’re in a coin laundry/laundromat – some fun stuff.

People always want to know if we’re close to the ocean and we are pretty close – not lunch at the beach close but 15 minutes close.  Now that I think about it we could head to the beach for lunch now and then.  Santa Ana where we are located and have been since the mid-70′s is in Orange County, California just inland a bit from Newport Beach.  I think there actually is a show about the OC.  I’m not going there right now.  Nonetheless we are centrally located between San Diego to the south and Hollywood to the north – 60 miles or so in either direction.

We have a great company at R&B and you’ll find that out as we continue to share more and more over time.  We manufacture wire, steel, sewn and poly products that help in the transportation of laundry and linen products in numerous industries such as coin laundry, healthcare, hospitality and some other specialty markets.  Our product offering is pretty extensive and diverse.  You can always check that out on our web site at www.rbwire.com if you want to.

Our business has changed dramatically over the years as we have diversified and been asked to do more and more by our customers.  We have always risen to the occasion as we really like to help our customers.  We do!  Before I forget I should share with you that we are a manufacturer – I know that I said that already but my point is that we sell through distributors.  Our distributors rely on us to provide quality products, great customer service and also want us to be a fantastic distribution company when they need us to send products directly to  their customers and we are great at that too.  What a jewel of a company you’re probably thinking and we are – so thanks.

We have some fun people in the company and over time you’ll get an introduction or at least some information on everyone.  As the VP of Sales & Marketing it only made sense – especially to me, that I should launch our R&B blog.  Yours truly, Frank Rowe is at the helm giving you a taste of R&B.  I hope that you have enjoyed our brief but fulfilling time and look forward to more R&B bits down the road.  Your feedback, questions and positive comments – OK any comments, just positively delivered are appreciated.
